Wednesday Night Supper
As you know school has started for our students and one of the things we try to do at Spring Creek Baptist Church during the school year is offer Wednesday night meals. These meals allow our parents to come to Church on Wednesday nights even though they are busy running here and there doing this and that.
To make these meals happen, we depend on volunteers who band together and make a team that takes its turn every so often to fix a meal. We really need at least six teams to keep this ministry going. We need some people and teams to step forward.
Our goal here has never been to make money but to provide a ministry to families that could use a little less rushing around on Wednesday nights. If you and your team would be willing to take a turn, please let Kelly know as soon as possible. Thanks and God bless!
The Principles of Growth
- Go after people who don't have a visible relationship with Jesus or a Church home.
- Reach out to others when you see a need.
- Reach up to God constantly as we always have a need.
- Open the Bible, the heart, and channels of communication with those who are hard to talk to or who God simply brings to you.
- Witness (stick with it) to your faith.
- Tithe (commit to it).
- Help those who God brings your way.

Fight worry, fear, and the anxiety with the Promises of God
When you feel like you've drifted or lost your way
When we start to feel distant from God, or feel like we've lost our way, God is still there. He waits for us to return and offers forgiveness and grace. Out of His Presence is anxiety and fear, but in Him, there is abundant life, purpose, and joy. Ask God's forgiveness for what you need to make right with Him, thank Him for the covering of care, for His huge mercy and love. Pray for His help and wisdom in staying close to Him, believing there is protection and goodness there.
1 John 1:9, Psalm 103:12, John 10:10
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.

These teams can be 2 or 3 people (a couple or 2 or 3 friends that work well together). These teams will be rotated as needed. If you are interested, ask your friends to join your team and let Kelly know you are willing to serve. Thanks!
