Missions/Library Maker's Project
Please join us on Saturday, March 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for a combo Missions/Library Maker's Project. We will learn to make mats for the homeless from plastic shopping bags. We will also be discussing ways to reach those in need based on one of our new library books entitled "Who is My Neighbor?" by Wayne Gordon, led by Janet Pike. Please bring any ideas and projects that you would like to share.

The Principles of Growth

  • Go after people who don't have a visible relationship with Jesus or a Church home.
  • Reach out to others when you see a need.
  • Reach up to God constantly as we always have a need.
  • Open the Bible, the heart, and channels of communication with those who are hard to talk to or who God simply brings to you.
  • Witness (stick with it) to your faith.
  • Tithe (commit to it).
  • Help those who God brings your way.

"Helping Hands Committee"

We want to form teams that will be responsible for being here during wakes and/or funerals to meet and greet people, make coffee, serve, etc. and clean up afterwards. These teams can be 2 or 3 people (a couple or 2 or 3 friends that work well together). These teams will be rotated as needed.
